Remote

Kingsland is a Brand Studio based in Brooklyn and Los Angeles, with remote employees based in the Hudson Valley, Miami, the UK and Europe. 


We are a full-service creative agency with a focus on brand strategy first and foremost. We apply this brand-first lens to everything from startup branding to packaging design to campaign concepting to full-scale production of ads for broadcast, OTT and digital platforms, as well as evergreen social media content and copywriting. We believe creative dovetails from strategy and the two should not be separated, as is common practice in the larger ad industry. 


The Account Executive will work under the direction of the Founder, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief of Staff from whom they will collect account and project information — deadlines, objectives, budgets, etc. They will assign individuals or entire teams the tasks within the project, while creating and managing detailed schedules throughout the duration of the project. They will report directly to the Chief of Staff but work closely with the Founder and our creative teams.. 


The Account Executive will be counted on to manage projects by coordinating both internal (company employees) and external (clients, vendors, partners and freelancers) teams. They will serve as the interface between the clients and creative staff, making communication skills especially important.


Our clients range from VC-backed startups to Fortune 50 brands. Some larger clients include Walmart’s Store No. 8 innovation hub, Obagi, and Bombas. Some startups we work with include Trading.TV and QOA.


The ideal candidate will possess strong sales, interpersonal and organizational skills. They should be comfortable with multitasking and be able to budget their resources in order to meet the assigned quotas for their role. 

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Build, lead and maintain client relationships across key accounts.
  • Track and record metrics throughout creative process. 
  • Ensure all projects meet or exceed financial goals 
  • Create delivery timelines for client projects and ensure all projects are delivered within timeline. 
  • Understand and keep up-to-date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge.


Additional Responsibilities Could Include:

  • Keeping Kingsland’s Notion and Dropbox organized and up to date.
  • Updating case studies on Kingsland's website. 
  • Building a freelancer contact database. 
  • Continuing to update the Kingsland contact database. 

 

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of business experience at an agency or brand in a role like Assistant Account Executive, Account Manager or Project Manager. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Keynote, Notion, Dropbox and Google Drive. 
  • Ability to harness financial data to inform decisions and keep us on-budget.

Your outside interests will help inform our creative work. 


Deliverables will include 40 hours of work per week (full time). This position is remote but the account manager must be available to work during Eastern Standard time.
