Account Executive, Specialty Retail

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in digital marketing or digital media/advertising sales
  • Experience in Search Advertising and Display Advertising


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing a complex business, sales pipeline, and/or collaborating with client stakeholders
  • Knowledge of performance and/or brand marketing tactics and strategy
  • Knowledge of and established relationships within the advertising industry and the relevant industry vertical.
  • Ability to develop senior-level relationships with advertisers, agencies, and/or clients.
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical sales approach, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities with minimal guidance

As an Account Executive, you will be focused on moving our Retail partnerships forward. You'll bring the best of Google’s products and solutions to help our retailers solve complex challenges and grow their overall business. You'll help provide integrated, cross-platform advertising solutions. You will understand and anticipate how decisions are made, and explore and uncover the business needs of our key customers to help develop and guide strategies to address them.


Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.


Responsibilities

  • Develop high-level relationships to serve as a trusted consultant with major customers to optimize their advertising investments.
  • Build and cultivate long-term C-Level relationships with customer decision makers to be able to build and carry out long-term digital strategies and optimize their advertising investments.
  • Unlock and develop high-level relationships with decision-makers.
  • Develop scalable and leading edge solutions for customer(s) in order to optimize their advertising investments and maximize use of Google products (e.g. Search, Video, Display, Mobile, etc.).
  • Generate business plans to define your business strategies and tactics. Be responsible for the development and management of Joint Business Plans across various Google products and services, and channels.
