Account Executive

Los Angeles Times is seeking an Account Executive to join our sales team.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive advertising sales across all offerings, while meeting and exceeding all sales goals.
  • Grow existing and new client relationships.
  • Schedule & lead client/agency meetings.
  • Work as a partner to help clients reach their goals and initiatives.
  • Work with internal partners to prepare proposals and respond to RFP's with a high degree of professionalism, quality, and in a timely manner.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years selling experience, in media and or digital preferred.
  • Ability to create & execute against a strategic plan for growth/wins/upsells.
  • Prospecting and cold-calling skills necessary.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, exciting environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to be a team player.
  • Valid driver's license and maintenance of appropriate insurance (e.g. full coverage) required.


Position allows for remote work within Southern California.

The pay scale for this position is $60,000 to $70,000. This is the pay scale range the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. Compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
